Colleagues Honor Jim Pattee at the Wall

Judging from the many public, private, and personal tributes to the late Dr. James Pattee, CMD, during Long Term Care Medicine—2012 last month, the legendary physician’s spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of his many friends and colleagues. After AMDA Foundation Chair Dr. Daniel Swagerty, CMD, challenged meeting attendees to donate to the Wall of Caring in Dr. Pattee’s memory, people came out in record numbers to make their contributions. The result was a total of over $27,000 in donations to the Wall, which goes exclusively to supporting the popular Futures Program (which educates residents and fellowship about careers in long-term care medicine) and over 25 tributes to Dr. Pattee on the Wall.
